1. What's your favorite childhood snack that you still eat as an adult?
When I was a kid I would spend all my allowance money on Bulls Eye candies. They are a thick caramel with cream in the middle. Yum! Recently I've been picking them up when we go to the produce market on Saturdays. I think I need to stop getting fruit so I can stop spending all my money on Bulls Eyes again!
2. What food will you not eat the low fat version of?
I pretty much don't care for the low fat version of anything! Sour cream and cheese are specifically gross in low fat versions.
3. What's your favorite way to cool off during the summer?
I like to hang out in my air conditioned home and play on the computer, read a book, or play board games with my family.
4. What's your favorite summer read?
I don't really have a favorite summer read. I do enjoy being able to catch up on books I've been putting off during the school year due to lack of time.
5. What are you doing to stay cool in this awful heat?
See #3 above. Once we're home for the night I get in my p.j.s and hang out under the ceiling fan.

I always think how easy to please you are and agree with so many of your posts. Hope your having a relaxing weekned
Thanks Fiona. I really wouldn't have thought of myself as easy to please, but as I look around this world I realize that I really am.
That reminds me of one Valentine's Day when Daniel came home from work just BEAMING with pride. He had a grin from ear to ear. I asked him what was up, and he told me the guys at work wanted to trade their wives for me. When I asked why he told me about their conversation. They guys had all worked a 14-hour shift and were expected to come home with flowers and take their wives to fancy dinners. Many of them had worked over time like crazy to buy their wives expensive jewelry. Daniel told them I would be upset if he bought expensive jewelry or flowers because they are a waste of money, and dinner would be waiting on the table when he got home from work. I was a stay-at-home mom at the time and took pride in that part of my "job," making Daniel comfortable after putting in such a hard day. Daniel's reaction to the conversation with the men was all the Valentine's Day gift I needed!
I hear you on the A/C... don't even want to imagine what it would be like without it. I'm also lucky to have a pool in our backyard... we get in there every chance we get!!! :)
I feel really badly for the people who are going through heat waves right now with no A/C. At least we are used to it here. We don't have a pool, but there are plenty of public pools and splash pads and we have friends and family with pools.
