What Do You Want To Be Known For?

Thought Questions

Whenever I have answered this question in the past I have pictured my funeral and what I imagine people will say about me when I am gone.  What do I want to be known for?  I hope, in the end, that people remember my generosity of spirit.  I have always wanted to help people to be the best they could be.  I hope, especially in the case of my children, that I have this type of influence.  I don't need to be famous or rich.  I don't even have to be great.  I just want to be a positive light for those who I come in contact with.

Hi,

I have a quick question about your blog, do you think you could email me?

Hi Karen, and thanks for your comment today. I like your question and how it makes you think about how you want to be remembered. I think you can be remembered differently by each person, whether they are close to you or not. I don't think it matters how people remember me is that important. I prefer what people think of me as I'm alive, including my kids.

That's a great point Sonia. Yes, what people think of us while we are alive is important. I do hope people are thinking this same thing about me now!

I agree, well-said. Just even from your blog, I think most of here can tell this is exactly how you come across. This is the way I want to be remembered too.
