Mondays Music Moves Me- July 17

Photobucket

This week is a freebie week with no theme I decided to put my iPod on shuffle and see what the first song to come up was. And the winner is....

"That Was a River" by Collin Raye!

This is a beautiful song about a relationship that means much more to the singer than the previous one. He is reassuring his woman that she is important to him.

I remember listening to this song when Daniel and I first got together, hoping he would one day feel this way about me. My husband was married once before, as was I, and I knew how much he loved his ex-wife. Obviously he loves me, too, and this song definitely fits.

I've always loved that song, though I haven't heard it for a long time! I also love your the story you tell with this. I'm glad the song was a precurser to your life!

Thanks for stopping by Grumpy! I've met a lot of people who have never even heard of Collin Raye, much less listened to his songs. I'm glad to meet someone else who loves this one!
