Day 16 – A song that you used to love but now hate
"Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson
This was a really tough challenge day because I don't tend to dislike music once I've liked it. I know... strange, huh? That's why my iPod is so crazy with a variety of music, though, I think. A song may drop out of my top 10 list, but I usually enjoy hearing it again many years later.
This song, "Billie Jean," is definitely an exception to this rule. In fact, all music by Michael Jackson would fall into this category. Commence throwing the rotten tomatoes now.... Yes, I said it... I don't care for the "King of Pop" in the least. When I was 10-years-old, though, I had the Thriller album. I would listen to that thing over and over again. All I can say is: I'm glad my daughters have better taste in music than I did at their age!
I'm linking this post up to Comment Love Day so it can get a little more traffic. Welcome blog hoppers. I hope you will stay awhile and read some of my other posts.

Billie Jean is one of those songs that's just overplayed. Like this song, I could go the rest of my life without hearing Hotel California by the Eagles either.
I'm off to look at your archives!
Although I like Hotel California, I know exactly what you mean! Some of the best songs on the radio have been ruined by being overplayed. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
For me it's anything by Motley Crue. Sad too, but all their songs remind me of my ex. Especially 'Panama'. Eww...I don't even like typing it! Great blog, I'm a new follower!

Marlee: I hate it when our exes mess up something we used to enjoy! I completely understand. Thanks for following. I hope you'll continue to enjoy my blog!
I definitely know how ya feel with overplayed music!
I have a tendency to go back to 'old' music once the hype has passed and I find I can enjoy it better once people stop listening to it non-stop. :)
Isn't that amazing how that works Remy? I have found that I'm not into too many things when they are ultra-popular. Once the hype dies down I find an enjoyment for whatever it was, though. Thanks for stopping by!
