Aloha Friday- June 3

An Island Life
Aloha Friday is hosted by "An Island Life." Please click on the button above to visit her blog and say hello!

So here's the idea. I'm going to ask a question, and you put your answer in the comments. Then you write a similar post and link up by clicking on the button above and finding the Aloha Friday post for today's date. If you don't have a blog (or if you just don't want to participate), please answer the question anyway. I'd love to get to know more about you.

Here's the question(s):
Have you read "Water for Elephants" and or seen the movie? What did you think?
If you haven't read the book but want to, please enter my "Water for Elephants" giveaway here!

I saw the movie and thought it was really good, but I wish I had read the book first. I probably will still read it because I usually think the books are better than the movies :)

Kerry, some people are telling me that the movie was REALLY well done and may even be better than the book. That's not very common, so now I'm really curious. I hope you enjoy the book if you decide to read it!

I tried reading this book but just could not force myself to finish. Urgh I hate it when reading feels forced especially for a book that is highly liked. Oh well. I do want to see the movie though.

I completely agree that forced reading stinks! Don't worry, there have been LOTS of very well-liked books that I just couldn't understand what the fuss was about. To be honest, I expected "Water for Elephants" to be like that for me, too. I really want to see the movie, but I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Thanks for stopping by!
