Hospital trip again. Not for me!
Oh my gosh, I'm getting tired of Banner Desert Hospital. I'm glad it's there, though. It helps that it's only a mile from my house, too. This was another week spent there, but this time it wasn't for me.
On Monday morning my mom went to her doctor for an abscess. It turned out it was so infected that she needed to be on IV antibiotics, and the abscess needed to be drained in a surgery. She was sent to the emergency room to be admitted to the hospital.
I spent parts of Tuesday and Wednesday sitting with my mom so she wouldn't get bored, and it was a good thing I was there on Wednesday. Her doctor came in to say she was being released, and within 30 minutes we were out the door. It happened that fast.
For the past couple of days Mom has been coming here while Dad was at work so she isn't alone. It's kind of like the blind leading the blind, since I am still sick. But it's been nice to have someone else around to hang out with. Sitting on the couch all day isn't so bad when I feel like I'm not the only one missing out on life happening around me!

I hope your mother's feeling better! I'm sorry you had to spend a good part of your week at the hospital though. What a depressing place!

Awwww man I know how you feel. There was a time a short while ago when it seemed like one of my grandparents was always in the hospital. Everyone there knew us and them!
