30 Day Photo Challenge- Day 31

Day 31: A picture of yourself

Don't ask me how there is a day 31 in a 30 day challenge, but here it is. The last picture in this challenge is a picture of myself. This is me at Superstition Springs Farm, holding a chicken. I was as afraid of this bird as some of the kids were, but I got used to it. Amber loved the chickens and would have held them all day long. We had gone to the Farm for Andrea's 10th birthday in January.

Karen ~ good pic ~ I don't find it very easy take a pic of myself ~ not something I ever chose to learn I guess ~ Keep up the great work ^_^

Carol: I don't usually like pictures of myself, but my kids have started asking about why I am not in pictures of certain events. We have whole Christmas albums that I am not in, or birthday parties that don't document me being there. To make my kids happy I started making sure I was in the pictures for those things. You are right, though, it is something you choose to learn. If it wasn't for my girls I still wouldn't be in too many pictures!

Great picture!! I'm the photographer most of the time, so I don't end up in many pics... but I can see why our daughters would wonder about that. I have my own mom-centered reasoning (your mom cares more about the pics than anyone else, so she works hard at getting good ones) but that seems like trashing others, so I don't say it... and suck it up and take more pictures!

And, I think that's rooster you're holding, not a chicken! :) Farm girl here.
