30 Day Photo Challenge: Something I'm afraid of.
I never imagined that I could legitimately have this fear. However, since getting the shingles and then being hospitalized with complications, I seriously wonder if I will ever walk properly again. For a complete explanation, read Finally Ready. To be honest, I am okay with the part that I may never walk normally again. I'm prepared to take the steps needed to get on with life. It's the not knowing and the waiting that is killing me.

Wow. I just read the "Finally Ready" post, that left me with tears swelling up. I feel for you. not in the way that I am at all in the same boat, but with the frustration and questions that still need to be answered. When... always seems so far away. But you are right, when the time is ready, will be the right time. After being hit with such a big pile of poo, it makes complete sense to have so many questions. Maybe your doctor can help in that area, such as give you workouts that your body may be able to handle. I am glad that you have a loving and supporting family and a great neurologist. Good doctors sadly, a hard to find, but I am truly glad you found one you like. :) I hope and pray things will get easier for you!! Sending good vibes down the road to you ;)
Trisha: Thank you for the good vibes and for the thoughts. I follow your blog, so I know that you are in a situation that is as difficult if not more so than mine. I always feel bad for "whining" when I come across someone who has frustrations worse than mine. Anyway, I will ask my doctor for some exercises the next time I see him. Past that, though, I know the questions I have don't have answers. Unfortunately, we did talk to the doctor about that, and he said only time will tell on everything. Thanks again for commenting. It helps to know people are out there reading and coming up with ideas!
